Terms of Service & Design Agreement

Welcome to LH Interior! We are excited to collaborate with you to create a thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling space tailored to your lifestyle.

To ensure a smooth, transparent partnership built on Radical Transparency and Collaborative Empathy, please review our service terms and agreement process below.

1. Our 6-Step Design Process

We follow a clear 6-step journey so you always know what to expect at every phase of your project.

2. Investment & Payment Terms

To protect project timelines and secure studio availability, our fee schedules reflect standard interior design practices:

Mini Packages: Paid in 100% full upfront at the time of booking to secure your design slot.

Full Service Packages: Require a 50% non-refundable deposit to initiate work (Step 1–3). The remaining 50% balance is due prior to the delivery of the Final Design Pack (Step 5).

3-Month Payment Plans (where applicable): The first instalment acts as your initial deposit and must be processed prior to commencing Step 1. Subsequent payments are automatically billed monthly.

Add-On Services & Fees

Standard packages cover specified digital deliverables. Additional support or scope adjustments are billed as follows:

Extra Revisions: Each package includes one (1) round of revisions based on initial concepts. Requests must be submitted within the specified feedback window. Additional minor adjustments are billed at our standard hourly add-on rate. (Major concept restarts require a separate scope agreement).

Handyman & Trade Liaison: Direct coordination and technical review with your contractor or handyman.

Travel Expenses: Standard packages include site travel up to 10 miles. Any distance beyond this radius is invoiced at 65p per mile.

3. Ownership, Use & Portfolio

Intellectual Property: LH Interior retains copyright and ownership of all conceptual designs, 2D layouts, 3D visuals, floor plans, and mood boards created during the project.

Your Client License: You receive an exclusive, non-transferable license to use these designs solely for your personal residential property. Designs may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

Portfolio & Artistry: To honour our core value of Artistry, LH Interior reserves the right to share non-sensitive project drawings, photos, and testimonials on our portfolio, social media, and marketing channels. Personal client details remain strictly confidential.

4. Scope, Liability & Execution

Design Intent Only: LH Interior provides creative concepts and spatial visualizations. We are not licensed structural engineers, architects, or general contractors.

Verification & Purchasing: All design execution, trade hiring, and material ordering from shopping lists are done at the sole discretion and risk of the client. Clients or contractors must verify final dimensions on-site before placing orders or initiating construction.

Third-Party Contractors: LH Interior is not liable for structural defects, third-party vendor errors, or construction delays.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time via written notice.

Cancellation Before Design Work Begins: If cancelled prior to commencement of Step 1, a refund will be issued minus a non-refundable administrative/discovery fee.

Cancellation After Work Commences: Due to the bespoke digital nature of our creative work and studio allocation, deposits and payments made after design work has begun are non-refundable.

6. Client Digital Acknowledgement & Booking Form

By signing your welcome pack, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the Terms of Service and Interior Design Agreement outlined above. Once submitted, your booking will be locked in and we will proceed to the next step.
